I stayed for 14 days in November and the Hotel made these two weeks absolutely unforgettable! Not only was the room FAR better than what I expected (with a stunning view towards the cathedral), the staff was extremely helpful and kind, the breakfast was as good as any and the location - best one in the whole town! If you are planning a long vacation in FLorence I cannot recommend Bigallo enough!

Amazing location steps from the Duomo, with some rooms having a view of it, and centrally located to all the sites! Good variety breakfast and for a long time range. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even assisting with a restaurant reservation.

Location is what you are paying for and it does not disappoint. If you are use to European travel in old cities it is what you expect. Simple rooms, small but usable elevator, same for the shower. Breakfast was fine. Staff was very nice and accommodating. My wife picked the hotel and she nailed it. We could step in and out throughout the day due to the location.

Location was excellent. Hotel is located next to the Duomo, bell tower, and baptistry. The tower bells were rich and resonant in the mornings and evenings. The piazza in front of the duomo was busy, stepping into the hotel was very quiet and peaceful.

Located steps from the Duomo and a short walk from S.M.Novella train/transit hub. Close to museums and points of interest like Ponte Vecchio. Nice breakfast selections. Courteous and helpful staff.

The location was fabulous. At first glance from outside, it was a bit worrisome, but rest assured it is lovely inside. Its old-world charm and breathtaking views make this hotel well worth it.. i would definitely recommend this hotel. From the moment you walk in you and greeted with friendly staff. Room #1404 has amazing views of Duomo. Also if you need a cab the staff shall ring one up and it takes under 5 minutes... Outstanding experience.

Location was spectacular. Lowest rate room was unremarkable looking out over someone’s roof, but the upgrade looked out over the square. Helpful staff. 6 minute or less walk to everything. Lift worked, but stairs were a comfortable climb once luggage was taken up.
